CONSCIOUS WALKS AND CONNECTION WITH NATURE!

Dear, dear!

 

We invite you to get to know the  The Way of Good Men in a different way, inspiring you  in some of the  values that still endure from these good men and women  from the Middle Ages to the present day, as  the return to things  simple, to the most essential  of life. For them, nature and  The roads were their spaces of growth, of improvement, and today we invite you  May they be for you!

 

 A holistic approach to health invites us to recognize the physical, psychological and spiritual benefits that nature brings us. It has been proven in recent studies that contact with nature reduces symptoms related to psychological distress.  and the degree of satisfaction with our life increases, as we feel connected and united. 

 

 The Conscious Walks on the Path of Good Men, consist of 6 short circular itineraries, (from 5 to 14km of route) on the Berguedan part of the Camí dels Bons Homes, they are located in the municipalities of Castellar del Riu, Peguera, Gisclareny, Bagà, Saldes and Gósol.

 

To follow the routes you must follow different GR, PR and yellow Xarxa de Camins signs, detailed in the Step by step guide, and you can also follow them on Wikiloc or by downloading the .gpx track.

 

On the itineraries  you can make stops at recommended points to do some meditative practices available with the audio guide, to Spotify and/or downloading the .mp3 files

 

These practices, which include contact with natural elements, will be the vehicle that will provide you with a more intimate connection with Nature through all your senses.

With the Conscious walks you will be able to  stop, meditate, listen and have experiences through the  your senses, which will allow you to enter into  contact with Nature in a deeper way, feeling a union  and harmony that will bring you greater physical and emotional well-being.

 

In every situation  you are proposed a meditative practice, in which you will have to place yourself  standing, sitting  or stretched. It's just a suggestion, and you always need to adapt it to your current situation, taking into account the environment, whether it's cold, whether the grass is wet...

 

They are versatile practices that can be done at all points on the itinerary. To make it easier, we recommend some that we find most suitable for the place, although you are free to organize it in your own way.

This proposal that relates nature and well-being is driven by the conclusions of the study of the Melhorament project -led by the Berguedà Development Agency- Camí dels Bons Homes with Dr. Montse Subirana (Department of Psychology, UB)- which explores  the therapeutic value of nature through experiences such as the crossing of the Camí dels Bons Homes.
